Joan M. (Duggan) Curtin

Joan M. (Duggan) Curtin, age 85, of Scituate, formerly Brighton, passed on Sept. 26, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Edmond T. Curtin. Loving mother of Joan C. Baldassari of Peabody, Edmond T. Curtin Jr. of Marshfield. Sister of the late Gerard A. Duggan Jr. Cherished grandmother of Christopher A. Curtin and wife Ashley of Whitman, Daniel T. Curtin of Marshfield, Lauren M. Curtin of Marshfield, Patrick J. Curtin of Marshfield. Great Grandmother of Noah Irizzary. She is also survived by two nieces, 1 nephew, and 1 late niece.

Mrs. Curtin was a resident of Scituate for over 60 years and a member of the Scituate Beach Assoc. She volunteered at New England Telephone Pioneers and acted as secretary in the local branch, and retired from Verizon in the Customer Service Dept.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Oct. 2 at 10 am in St. Anthony Church, Cohasset. Visiting hour Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015 from 4-8 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 160 So. Main St. (across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset, MA. 02025.
