Dear Joanie and Eddie, I just heard about your mother's death from my stepmother Barbara. I have so many great childhood memories of your mother and father, and the old neighborhood. For some reason, I have a very vivid memory of our mothers singing the "itsy, bitsy yellow polka dot bikini" song one summer night at the Beach Association, and then all of us having Hoodsies while we watched cartoons or a movie, or something. It was always so special when your parents invited our family to be their guests there. Not long after I moved to Vermont and opened my gas station, your mother stopped by to say hello when she was passing through with some friends (Mrs. Tansy?). It was so thoughtful of her to do that, and it was great to see her again after so many years. I always liked your mother so much and will always have fond memories of her. My condolences on her loss.
Best,
Sheryl

Ah, the memories. Sea View Ave was a lot of fun back in the day. Your mother Joan, and Ed, the Duggans, Stauffs, Whalens and Barnards. Nice memories. Condolences from myself and Nancy.
