Robert W. Turner, Sr.

Robert W. Turner, Sr., age 85, of Norwell, passed away on August 21, 2016. Husband of the late Joan (Murphy) Turner. Loving father of Kathleen Belyea and husband Robert of Norwell, Richard Turner of Brattleboro, VT., Susan Yalenezian and fiancé James Demers of Rockland, Jonathan E. Turner and wife Cheryl of North Attleboro, and the late Robert W. Turner Jr. Brother of the late Samuel Turner, Jr., Phyllis Tedeschi, and Harriet Turner. Grandfather of Andrea and Emily Belyea, Sara and Jacob Yalenezian, and Rachael and Samuel Turner.

Bob worked for Stop and Shop Supermarkets, and the Town of Norwell in many capacities. He was an avid outdoorsman.

Visiting hours Wednesday, Aug. 24th from 4-7 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central St. (off Rt 123, near State Police Barracks), Norwell Center, MA. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 25th at 11 am in Washington Street Cemetery, Norwell. In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Bob may be made to the Samuel Turner Jr. Legion Post, PO BOX 892, Norwell, MA. 02061.
